SaferAfrica is made up of a number of experts with proven skills that can be utilised over a broad range of project areas. Each person attached to SaferAfrica has proven ability to deliver a service, be it policy facilitation, public awareness creation, technical expertise, capacity building, or data collection and analysis. Besides this core ability, each person has a specialised interest in one or more security, research or development areas. All personnel, without exception, are pooled to create and deliver on different projects. Core personnel will lead a project and assist in the delivery of all other projects. Short-term staff or external human resources are utilised to cover gaps in expertise or to provide sustainability to large projects. Furthermore, SaferAfrica creates strategic alliances and collaboration with other existing organisations or experts so as not to replicate efforts and minimise competition at all times. It therefore also relies on a system of memorandums of understanding (MoU's) among like-minded individuals and organisations in the delivery of its projects.
