The Security Network

of Latin America (RESDAL in Spanish) was created in 2001 to promote the institutionalisation of the state functions of security and defence within the frame of democracy through the strengthening of the civil capacity. Its activities are focused in the promotion of the collaboration between institutions and individuals committed to this subject in the whole region, the organisation of visits to render assistance to different countries, the debate and research on civic-military relations, security and defence. All of it is concentrated in the RESDAL website which main objective is to make possible to the user with this accessible tool to obtain information, to know and learn about this field and contact institutions and specialists.
