Directors, Heads of Programme and Personnel
SaferAfrica is governed by a Board of Directors, which comprises of three persons including: Ric de Caris, Slu Hlongwa, Jakkie Potgieter. There are three Heads of Programme including: Virginia Gamba, Slu Hlongwa and Jakkie Potgieter. In addition to the expert capacity of SaferAfrica’s three programme heads, we have a wealth of expertise in our staff which comprises the following research personnel: Sarel Buijs, Menzi Hlongwa, Aida van der Colf, Ettienne Hennop, Clare Jefferson, Lara De Klerk, Liz Oberholster, and Lumka Tetani. We have a liaison officer for our operations in Mali, namely Kani Coulibaly. Our supporting staff strive to meet all the needs of the organization and consists of the administrative support office, conference support and travel, information technology and web, and finance.
